crap...I don't know why I was thinking camcorder and not digital camera. We have a Canon PowerShot A560 and that's pretty nice. My bigger SLR-type digital camera is a Sony CybersShot with a 12x optical zoom but it's bigger (way bigger) than what you want. I wanted macro capabilities and the optical zoom because I like to take scenic "art" shots. Jack's Canon is more the point'n'shoot camera for us and it fits in my purse easily.
